Voice Found Podcast
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our podcast. While we did consider other names, we thought the name of our organization really does say it all. It’s about speaking up, speaking out, and using our voices to share the realities of childhood sexual abuse and human trafficking.
For over 10 years, the team at Voice Found has been working to support survivors of human trafficking and childhood sexual abuse and has been striving to create safe communities free from sexual abuse and exploitation. Throughout the years, we have learned SO MUCH from remarkable survivor-leaders, service providers, and the people we serve. Along the way, we’ve adopted some best practices and learned different ways of healing.
This platform is one way we can educate and spark conversations about the realities of childhood sexual abuse and human trafficking in Canada…..and beyond.
We have some interesting and thought-provoking guests lined up including, Dr. Kelli Palfy, author of Men Too: Unspoken Truths About Male Sexual Abuse; Myrna McCallum, host of the Trauma-Informed Lawyer podcast; Jennifer Richardson, Director of Anti-Human Trafficking for the Province of Ontario, and many more.
Episodes will be released bi-weekly and are hosted by Cynthia Bland (Founder and CEO of Voice Found) and guest hosts such as Amy Volume, radio personality, and all-around great human. The show is being produced by the wonderful team at Creativision.
The first episode will feature Jennifer Richardson, Director of the provincial anti-human trafficking office and one of the architects of Ontario's anti-human trafficking strategy. It airs February 22nd, 2022 - National Human Trafficking Awareness Day.
We are using our voice to speak up. We are using our voice to educate.
We are #NoLongerSilent.
