    Elaine Chan is currently Vice-President, Total Rewards and HR Technology with Mattamy Asset Management.     Jason Ward is a Chartered Professional Accountant and tax professional, and currently serves as an Expert Advisor in the Tax Policy Branch at the Department of Finance. Jason is fascinated by the legislative process and is at his near-happiest when he’s drafting income tax law for Parliament’s consideration. Jason also holds a Certified Financial Crime Specialist designation and recognizes the importance of detecting and disrupting the flows of illicit financial proceeds from human trafficking.     In her current role as Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) of the Communications and Public Affairs Branch for Health Canada and Public Health Agency of Canada, Sarah provides expert level advice on how best to develop and communicate complex policies on health and public health issues. She leads her team to deliver innovative, evidence-based communications on health issues, leads risk and crisis communications responses to emerging issues, and delivers targeted health promotion initiatives, leveraging expertise in strategic communication, public education, marketing, advertising and partnerships to support improved health outcomes for everyone in Canada.   • Gilberto L. Cedolia, Director

    Gilberto L. Cedolia is a finance, risk management and ESG professional, with a background in capital markets and corporate banking. Currently, Gilberto is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Scotiabank’s Financial Crimes Risk Management department. Since 2019, Gilberto has been leading Scotiabank’s Financial Access Program: a specialized financial inclusion initiative that promotes financial literacy and banking services to survivors of human trafficking in Canada. Stacey holds a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario She has a private practice in the Ottawa area and is the author of the best-selling book, “Milk and Cookies-An Intimate Story About Rising Above the Trauma of Sexual Abuse” and coauthor of the International Best Selling “Women Who Impact.” (read more)
