Getting Ahead

Imagine you want to get a job and get ahead in life but you are not able to pay for a course, or program, or school. We have a number of survivors of human trafficking who are working hard to get ahead. They want to create a life that was effectively stolen from them. A full and productive life where they are independent and providing for themselves. Many have debts that have been incurred by their trafficker. Many were attending school when they were trafficked and had to leave. Now they want to go back. It takes a lot of hard work to get to the place where a survivor is ready to move forward. Let’s remove another barrier!

We need your help to make this dream happen. This fundraiser has been set up to provide the following:

• tuition for specialized programs (we have one who is ready to take yoga teacher training)

• tuition for night courses

• support for textbooks, school supplies

• support for groceries and/or daily living (this is for those who have secured a spot through student loans but can not work part time to afford some of these costs)

• tutors to help prepare for placement tests (increase confidence in basic skills)
