Welcome Elaine Chan

We are delighted to announce that Elaine Chan, Vice-President, Total Rewards and HR Technology with Mattamy Asset Management, has been elected to Voice Found’s Board of Directors. In connection with Ms. Chan’s election, the Board of Directors increased its size from 11 to 12 members.

Elaine is a successful human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience in Financial Services, having worked with several Canadian banks both in Canada and the U.K. Elaine has a broad set of HR and leadership experiences, with a focus on HR-strategy, risk management, compliance, and governance.

Elaine holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University and a Masters diploma in Financial Services from York University.

Based in Toronto, Elaine has recently taken up cycling, raising funds for events such as the Baycrest Bike for Brain Health and the Princess Margaret Ride to Conquer Cancer.

Elaine states, “In a world where human trafficking is an unfortunate reality, I am excited for the opportunity to lend my support to the mission of Voice Found and be an advocate for an organization that supports, empowers and provides hope for survivors of human trafficking and childhood sexual abuse.”

“I've known Elaine for 20 years, and have always appreciated her approach within the realm of Human Resources, and with the people in her network. She is wise, gracious, giving, and is going to bring a great energy to our Board. I can't wait to work with her!", said board chair, Kevin McGowan.

Elaine will be joining us in our upcoming, annual strategic planning retreat in June where she will have an opportunity to meet everyone in person.

Welcome to Voice Found, Elaine. We look forward to working with you.
