HumanTrafficking Prevention and Awareness Month

January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month in the United States. January is also known as Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

For a number of years, we ran a social media campaign posting information each day of the month. The content includes information specific to Canada including our home base in Ottawa.

A couple of years ago, we posted all of the graphics for the month (plus a few extra) for you to review at your leisure. We have made these available for you to use throughout the month. If you do, we’d greatly appreciate it if you would use our hashtag #NoLongerSilent when posting.

Help yourself to these .png images at this link. PS - you’ll notice the visuals are numbered from 1 to 35 (with a few missing). This is the order we posted them through the month - beginning January 1st. They are in reverse order below.

Let's amplify our voices and take action to end human trafficking!
