Voice Found is a survivor-led national charity that educates individuals and organizations on how to identify, prevent, and respond to child sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation. We develop and deliver education, raise awareness of the issues and provide frontline services and support for persons who have been trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
We are fortunate to have many people offering their help for which we are most grateful. Many want to work directly with victims and given the sensitive nature and risk associated with our work, we can not currently accommodate those requests.
You enjoy meeting all kinds of people in a variety of situations, are a confident communicator, comfortable managing questions you may not have answers for and are dependable. We attend a number of activities throughout the year and are always looking for people who would like to help represent our organization. Most often this would involve being at a resource table greeting attendees, answering questions and supporting staff.
Time Commitment: Ideally we will have 2-3 people who will commit to events each month. The amount of time onsite will vary according to the event.
Training: All volunteers will attend training that will provide them with confidence to assist in representing our organization
It’s no secret that it takes a lot of financial resources to provide the many services that are needed in our work. If you love organizing events – big or small – this is something you might be interested in. Third party fundraisers are a great way for you to contribute and have fun while you are at it!. Whether a small gathering of friends or a massive gala – whether an art show, a luncheon, concert or bake sale – there are many ways to raise funds for a cause you are passionate about.
Time Commitment: This depends on the type of fundraiser.
Support: We will discuss the event with you and provide support with branding and advertising.
