Gather a group together and host a Stewards of Children workshop!
Have you ever found yourself feeling outraged at the sexual exploitation of children? Do news reports of more child pornography rings being discovered, sexual predators being arrested and children being trafficked make you want to put a lynch mob together? While it is a normal reaction to be angry and express outrage that such a thing could happen to children, expressing your disgust will not CHANGE anything. We offer every adult, in every community and every organization that serves youth, the opportunity to take proactive steps to protect children. Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention training is proven to change child protective behaviours and WILL provide you and/or your organization with the knowledge and tools required to keep children safe!
Public Training is listed on our calendar.
Most training is delivered through our facilitators across Canada. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to host training in your area.
Who can host a workshop? Workshops can be delivered wherever there is a group of people who are interested in learning how to prevent child sexual abuse. Schools, sports clubs, churches, groups of friends or any interested organizations are all welcome to host a workshop.
What is needed to hold the workshop? We ask that you provide a room that is comfortable and that has enough chairs for participants. The space will also require equipment available to play a DVD – a TV and DVD player or a laptop, projector and speakers.
How much does it cost? Where we have a facilitator, the cost is $30 per person. If there is more than one person from an organization, the cost is $25 per person. Travel, accommodations, shipping of materials and a daily food allowance may also apply for locations where we have no facilitators. Please contact us at email@example.com and we will be happy to work with you to provide a quote.
We have active volunteer facilitators across Canada including the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Nunavut. We also work collaboratively with other organizations to deliver training where we do not have a facilitator.
Contact us today at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you to ensure a positive and informative workshop experience.
