We’re excited to announce that we are launching a program for adult survivors of child sexual abuse. Our program is taking shape and soon we will be posting details of programs and workshops that we will be offering.

Meanwhile, we are recruiting volunteers to facilitate peer support groups.

Peer Support Groups

These groups provide survivors with support in a safe space. Through facilitated discussions, participants will learn about the impact of child sexual abuse and be given tools to develop or enhance positive coping skills.

Each week a different topic or theme will be discussed such as:

  • Triggers
  • Moving out of isolation into inclusion
  • Anger
  • Inner child
  • Re-establishing healthy boundaries
  • Sexuality
  • Loss and grief
  • Addictions
  • Flashback and grounding techniques
  • PTSD
  • Neuroplasticity

Each group runs for 15 weeks and we will have one for male identified and one for female identified participants.

Detailed information, including dates, will be posted in the near future.
