Thanks to the generosity of Amanda Sterczyk, we are thrilled to be able to offer Gentle Essentrics to survivors of sex trafficking in the Ottawa area. Classes will be held in our secure space in downtown Ottawa and there is no charge to attend.
Classes are limited to clients of Voice Found or by referral from collaborating partners. Registration is required and can be done by clicking here.
What is Gentle Essentrics?: This relaxed, but dynamic and deep, full-body stretch will work through all the joints and release tight muscles. This class is suitable for anyone beginning to exercise after a long sedentary period. Effective for injury recovery and prevention, pain relief, stress release, and improved balance. The class has a gentle, slow pace, and consists of standing and barre exercises only (no floor work).
What do I wear?: Comfy clothing. Barefeet or comfy shoes.
What do I bring?: Just yourself.
