Stephanie Izzard, Director
Stephanie Izzard is an independent Human Resources professional with over 18 years of extensive experience in the public, private and not-for profit sectors, providing a wide range of HR expertise dealing with all matters in relation to HR.
Most recently Stephanie held the position as Manager, Human Resources at Defence Construction Canada (DCC), a Crown corporation that delivers infrastructure and environmental projects for the defence of Canada where she was responsible for DCC’s talent management-related portfolio including employee relations, staffing, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, training, leadership, performance management, programs, and policy development and implementation.
Previous to that she was the Manager of Human Resources at the Tamir Foundation which is a non-profit organization assisting adults with developmental disabilities to realize their full potential while providing them with safe and caring residential and day program supports.
She holds a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation from the Human Resources Professional Association where she is an active member and currently sits as Chair of the Association’s Discipline Committee.
Stephanie also holds certificates in Alternative Dispute Resolution and attained her Executive Certificate in Conflict Management from University of Windsor, and Workplace Investigations Certificate from York University. She successfully completed the Executive Certificate program from Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business in Strategic Human Resources Leadership. Stephanie is also a graduate of Algonquin College.
